Home is where the heart is…And where the dog lives too.

Standard

Home is where the heart is
And where the dog lives too.
It’s where the cat sheds dander
And drinks out of the loo.

It’s where we do our laundry
to get it fresh and clean
So that the dog can roll on it,
When he thinks he isn’t seen.

Home is where the pets live
And where they let us stay
As long as we are thoughtful
And keep out of their way.

This entirely pointless poem was written for Six Word Fridays.  For far more meaningful poetry than mine, see here.
